PROJECT COORDINATOR Art History; Museology and Museography
Fernando António Baptista Pereira is a PhD in art sciences and techniques, specializing in museology. He is associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, of the University of Lisbon teaching art history, museology and museography and research methodologies. He was President of the Scientific Council and the Pedagogical Council of Fbaul and the creator of the research section “Francisco de Holanda” of the Cieba centre, whose directorate was taken between 2010 and 2016. In addition to accumulating a vast experience of theses and thesis orientations on issues related to heritage and its museological management, he also engaged in national and international museology projects and Museography, namely curatorship (at Museum of Setúbal), coordination of Exhibitions and they’re catalogs (at Museum of the Orient, Museum of Setúbal, among others), commissioned the coordination of catalogues as well. He is the author of dozens of articles in specialty publications.
